I really liked the house and the rooms. However, if you are in the lower level or upstairs, the stairs are difficult if you are older. I only had a carry-on, and it was challenging. They have a storage area if you come early. Communication is prompt and good. Our room was spacious. For me, the bed was hard. I chose this place because of the house architecture and for the location. Great amenities within walking distance. Price reflects the location.
Was very well located to great restaurants and shops, we had a wonderful stay! Room was nice and cozy, even had a sky light that had automatic blinds for us to control how light or dark it was in the room. Comfy bed, too!
The room was classy, clean and comfortable. We had all the essentials in the room and everything was within walking distance from the guesthouse. It would have been helpful to have a full shower curtain/door and a working exhaust vent in the bathroom as it was getting wet when we used. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and will certainly recommend it. Thanks
Communication was prompt and warm. Check in was easy. The location was ideal for exploring the city. While the room was well set up and tidy, and the 'welcome treat' was great, the bathroom floors was unacceptably dirty. I used the bath towel to gently wipe the floor and it came up black. I wonder when the floor was last mopped. Need to do better here. Mark
Overall it was a great hotel, and the building itself was interesting. The hallways were cool. Using the code to enter the building, and getting into the room was easy. We never saw anyone else while we were there, and it was very quiet. It was nice for getting to sleep easy to get ready for the next day. We also had our Jellycats standing guard for an extra sense of security.
A fantastic ‘self service’ place to stay. No reception or interaction with owner/manager - which was absolutely fine for us! Lovely clean, spacious, comfortable room with en-suite. Excellent location.
Very comfortable, clean and nice accommodation.The accommodation was at a great price, everything was beautifully prepared, and the hotel communicated perfectly. We were even able to store our belongings before the room was ready.We had a room for three, which was spacious enough. The bathroom was beautiful and clean, and all toiletries were provided. My husband and I had a good stay in Queen Charlotte Guesthouse. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and smells good. They check and clean the bins when you’re out if you opted to. Wifi was fast. The was no hassle checking in and out. The location is very accessible; near to tram, attractions and restaurants. Keep it up!
